  First, L&J appliance never gave us a service time. They told us we need to call them to find out when the technician will be coming... who does this? Why won't they give a "time window" like everyone else? Secondly, we had an awful experience with a technician who came to fix our refrigerator. The technician, Joe R, is extremely disrespectful and condescending. This particular service technician has terrible reviews online for being rude and hostile, but nothing is being done about it. Guessing he's a part of the family business and apparently is allowed to treat L&J customers poorly, which says a lot about this business. Do not hire them.

  There customer service is in the dinosaur ages. They do NOT give you a call the day before your service appointment to remind you and make sure you will be there. They do not call you in the morning to give you a time fram of when they will be there. They only give you a day that they will come -- THERE IS NO TIME FRAME THAT L&J GIVES YOU FOR THE ENTIRE DAY. You are supposed to call in the morning to ask what time they will be there. Most professional businesses send out reminder emails, texts and/or phone calls -- expect none of that from L&J. And, when I brought it up with them, they said they are so busy they don't have time for that, and that I should use someone else if I want better professional service. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is that their technician was capable and did fix my ice maker, but I really can't believe the lack of customer service on appointment reminders (the appointments are booked far out, so you would think for their own benefit they would reach out the day before or send an email or something!).
